Exceptional aesthetic often arises from the combination of two seemingly opposing poles. Silhouette eyewear has always succeeded in mastering this art: Achieving unparalleled lightness through inner strength. To remain true to oneself and to constantly set new impulses. To create timeless design that also meets the spirit of the age.
Here in Austria, we have a long tradition of producing classic and innovative eyewear that goes right back to 1964. Our production philosophy – with its craftsmanship and emphasis on manual work – is akin to that of a cottage industry. The result is unique eyewear that will delight and surprise you in terms of its innovation. Excellent design and high-quality materials create a clarity of design that expresses the individuality of the people who wear them.
Each one of our frames is hand painted. This is what gives us the freedom to produce almost every pattern and color combination that we (or rather Ronit) can imagine. Looking closely one can actually see the paintbrush strokes and the texture of the paint, just like a painting on canvas. After the painting is done the frame undergo a special coating procedure, which will give it it’s finished look – crystal shiny or sandy matt – and which also protects the painting from dirt and other unwanted effects.
The frames are designed to look different from every angle, with fine detail and tiny embellishments, graduated color schemes and asymmetric designs. The ethos of the range is to create quirky ,individual styles that capture the wearer’s personality.
In 1996, Robert Morris created William Morris London – an independent company with a very ‘English’ brand. The aim? To offer designer glasses to every audience, providing superb original designs which continually evolve.
Coupled with the love and pride that goes into creating the frames is the same level of hard work, dedication and personal service that each member of the William Morris London team strive to give their customers on a daily basis.
From humble beginnings to what is today a successful global brand, William Morris London employ staff, agents and distributors all over the world.
As the market has grown, so have the collections, the designs, the point of sale and everything else that goes into making a brand that is embraced so fondly by everyone.

Ted Baker remains something of an enigma. In 1988 he established himself as a shirting specialist of some repute and quickly went on to develop a wider range of exceptional menswear designs. In time, he also found sophisticated ladies clamouring for him to apply his unique flair for fashion to womenswear as well. He duly obliged, of course, and soon all four corners of the world had cottoned on to what Ted still likes to call ‘fashion’s best kept secret’. Today, Ted Baker London is renowned for its perfect mix of distinctive design, beautiful quality and unconventional creativity, all liberally spiced with Ted’s irreverent sense of humour and unswerving attention to detail.
Following in his Father’s footsteps, Tom Joules began selling clobber at country equestrian and other outdoor events across Great Britain more than three decades ago. One typically rainy afternoon, Tom realized that the clothing on offer really didn’t reflect customer’s personalities, country folk are colourful people but their clothing used to be quite the opposite.
So Tom designed 100 bright pink wellies. They sold like hotcakes, Joules was born.
Today they are still as crazy about colour, dotty about detail and as passionate about prints as they were 30 years ago. And because they keep looking to the countryside for all of its eccentricities to inspire them, they always will be.

Maui Jim got its start in 1980 as a small company selling sunglasses on Ka’anapali beach in Lahaina, Maui. Seeing a need in the market for technology that could combat intense glare and harmful UV while bringing the brilliant colours of the island to life they engineered the revolutionary PolarizedPlus2® lens.
What began as their Classic Collection of seven styles, has evolved into over 125 styles of sunglasses, all of which are polarized and protect from 100% of UVA and UVB rays.
Maui Jim is still located in Lahaina, Maui, where they design and test all of their sunglasses. But we’re pleased to say that their unique brand of sunglasses are available closer to home from the Hassocks Eyecare Centre in West Sussex.
