We’re excited to announce that we have launched a brand new service, designed to help you look and feel your best. From May 2022, we will offer colour styling consultations with Colour Me Beautiful stylist Jessica Edwards.
Combining styling expertise with a full colour analysis, not only will you get the chance to be matched with your perfect pair of glasses, you’ll also take away your own unique colour palette and styling tips for your wardrobe.
By analysing your colours we can help you refresh your look, matching you with colours that complement your complexion and enhance your eye and hair colours.
Why have your colours analysed?
The colours you choose to wear can make a big difference to the way you look and feel. You’ll already know that some colours suit you more than others, and this is down to a combination of factors including skin tone, eye colour, hair colour and personality.
Adapting the colours you wear to suit your unique combination of these factors can give you a wonderfully refreshing result and leave you feeling energised and looking healthier and younger.
If you haven’t ‘had your colours done’ for more than 5 years, now is a great time to update your look and plan your wardrobe for the seasons ahead. We can work with your existing clothes and suggest clever ways to update your wardrobe for minimal cost.

Dedicated consulting room
We’ve recently renovated one of our consulting rooms to provide a dedicated space for our colour styling appointments with Jessica. With mirrors, a dressing table and comfortable seating, the new space provides the perfect haven for an hour of you-time.
Jessica will begin the consultation by getting to know you; your lifestyle, current style and make-up preferences, shopping habits and what colours you already like to wear. Personality plays a part in our colour analysis too!
She will then analyse your hair colour, eye colour and skin tone to provide you with tailored styling advice for your clothes and recommendations for frames to suit your face shape.
Our Dispensing Opticians, who have also had some colour me beautiful training are also on hand to offer technical advice along with Jess’ guidance to find your perfect frames.
What colours suit me?
By looking at the unique way your skin tone, eye and hair colour work together, it’s possible to identify your dominant, secondary and tertiary colours. During the consultation, you’ll learn how to bring the colours from your personal palette into your wardrobe and find out which ones really give you the WOW factor.
Jessica will also advise on the neutral shades that suit you best and how to incorporate these into a capsule wardrobe.
During the Colour Me Beautiful consultation, you’ll find out:
- Your dominant colours based on skin tone and hair colours
- Your tonal shades to complement skin, eye and hair colour
- Make-up shades that bring out your natural colouring
- How to wear colours you already have
- The ideal frames for your face shape (for glasses and sunglasses)
If you wear make-up, Jessica will offer guidance on how to add colour with eye make-up and lipstick to suit your skin tone and supply you with a list of suitable make-up shades.
If you wear glasses, we’ll analyse your face shape and make suggestions about which frames will complement your features, as well as suggesting frame colours based on your colour analysis.
At the end of the consultation, you’ll have a personalised selection of fabric colour swatches to take home and combination tips for future shopping trips.
How to book Colour Me Beautiful
You can book a Colour Me Beautiful appointment online – choose either a full assessment or shorter colour assessment.
Our full colour assessment is £140 (£126 for our Vision Care Plan members*) and includes:
- 2 hour consultation with Jessica, our Colour me Beautiful Consultant
- Information on your primary, secondary and tertiary colours
- Make-up lesson
- Full fabric colour swatch pack with all colours
- £50 off your next complete pair of glasses (excludes sunglasses)
Our colour assessment is £100 (£90 for our Vision Care Plan members*) and includes:
- 1.5 hour consultation with a Colour Me Beautiful trained member of staff
- Information on your primary colours and secondary colour
- Make-up lesson
- Fabric colour swatches
- £40 off your next complete pair of glasses (excludes sunglasses)
*Vision Care Plan members receive 10% off our Colour Me Beautiful consultations, as well as 20% off frames and sunglasses.
