This month, we’re celebrating all of our wonderful sporting partnerships!
We’re very excited to announce our sponsorship of Keymer and Hassocks Cricket Club for the 2025/26 season! This year they are celebrating their 130th anniversary, and we are keeping our fingers crossed that planning permission is approved for new permanent nets at Adastra Park.
Following an amazing season of football last year an being promoted to the Isthmian League, we have also agreed to continue our sponsorship of the Robins (that’s Hassocks Football Club, if you weren’t sure!). Our banner is visible on the pitch for every game they host at the Beacon Ground.
Another ongoing partnership is with talented local gymnast Holly Barbour, who in June 2026 confirmed her place as part of TeamGB at the European Championships in Finland October 2026! We are very proud to be a sponsor of Holly, funding her spectacles and contact lenses so that she is able to focus on her Gymnastics without concerns about her vision. She was the first Junior ever to complete the Triple Front Twist- you can read more about Holly’s incredible talent in the Sussex Express article linked below!
We’d also like to congratulate all those who took part in the Mid Sussex Triathlon on Sunday 14th June. As sponsors of the event for quite a few years (and at times having taken part ourselves!) we are always very pleased to be part of this amazing and inclusive event.
At Hassocks Eyecare Centre, we take sports very seriously. We hold in stock many different ranges and styles of Sports Eyewear, including Sports Protective and Sports Sunglasses, for people of all ages and genders. We even have swimming goggles and diving masks!
We are also suppliers of contact lenses, including Ortho-K lenses, which are worn overnight and therefore ideal for sporting lifestyles.
